My little helpers... I took my girls on a recent trip to Darkes forest. Which we all thoroughly enjoyed I was great to see them engaging with nature and exploring. The biggest challenge was keeping them interested whilst I took large panoramic images (takes me a long time to get everything right.)
To keep them busy I gave them a camera each to borrow, which resulted in 1000's of shots of things like a shoe or my leg. Overall I love that I can include them in my work and enjoy spending time with them,

Just returned from the Bay of Islands in New Zealand, fantastic spot with amazing islands and marine life. This spot is a dream destination for cruising and holidays.
This is a New Zealand Bottlenose dolphin, which are among the largest Bottlenoses in the world, reaching almost four meters in length, and weighing as much as a 300kg.
Bottlenose dolphins reach sexual maturity between 7 and 12 years old. Mature females give birth to a single calf every 2-4 years. Maximum lifespan is at least 40 years.
They can reach speeds of 20-22 knots. This guy was surfing the pressure wave from the bow of our boat.


2015 Sydney to Hobart Yacht race12/5/2015
On the 26th of December 2015 I will be sailing towards Hobart on a yacht called Last Tango, which should be an amazing experience. 

I was ecstatic to secure a spot on this years Sydney to Hobart. This will be my second Sydney to Hobart. The first one being last year when I completed the 2014 race  which was the 70th iteration of the race since its inception in 1945. The race is one of three major yacht races in the world and covers a distance of approximately 630 nautical miles.  Last year we sailed down on Zora, which was an amazing experience that lasted for three and a half days. This photo above was taken at dawn on the second day.

For this next race I plan on taking my Nikon D800E and  a number of Go Pro cameras to document the race in full. I am hoping to create a unique time lapse of the race to portray the challenging nature of the race and the teamwork required to get to Hobart safely.
