Bryce Canyon Blue Hour
Bryce Canyon, is located within the state of Utah on the western side of the United States. Despite its name the area is not technically a canyon, it is a giant collection of natural amphitheaters. Bryce is unique due to geological structures called hoodoos, formed by frost weathering and stream erosion of the soft river and lake bed sedimentary rocks. The red, orange, and white colors of the hoodoos give this place a phenomenal natural beauty.
This shot was taken 30 mins after sunset with a series of long exposures. The main image is a large panoramic image which is about three GB in size. I cant wait to see this printed at full size sitting in a commercial building.
