Early in the morning I awoke at a ridiculous hour, well before sunrise. Slowly I walked down the steep walk into Hamersley gorge, Karajini National park. You are greeted with the most amazing layers of rock, which have been bent and formed into a geologists playground. This photo was taken near the end of Hamersley Gorge, where you will find an amazing pool of refreshing water surrounded by this colourful rock. This image was taken early in the morning. Which has allowed me to capture the subtle details in the rocks.
